You're planning to take a vacation away from your home? Do not forget to stock up with digital media before WiFi becomes unavailable

Let me tell you my experience from my most recent Arctic cruise. descargar musica de youtube con imagen It sounded amazing, National Geographic trip through the ice, and back with polar bears and other wildlife. There was going be ice where the eyes can see snow, ice, and snow everywhere. Man-made machines were designed to beat the elements and break through the frozen wilderness of the northern wilderness. It sounded amazing like a grand fight with the weather and north.

I was told to take any technology that can be carried in my bag. I did carry my laptop and added a huge display to expand the space. As they said, electricity was no problem. What was to become an experiment - was somewhat unknown to me.. I didn’t know that just two days into the 14-day trial, my Internet connection would go down and I would lose internet for 10 consecutive days. It happened. I was absolutely devastated. No trip, however hard or remote, should be an abrupt disconnect from the technology world and communication, especially in the 21st century. While I've got unfinished business to take care in the next week, I also simply did not prepare for the time of the downtime.

There is no need to leave your home. Internet is accessible all over the world. If your home Internet connection fails, you can always go to a McDonald's near you and obtain the free WiFi connection you require. You could even take your laptop to Starbucks and put up a table on the counter to surf the Internet until you drop. The only restaurant or cafe that can assist you in the north. It's a long way to the closest generator which produces electricity. There is no free Internet available. There are two options to get out from these situations. You could be offline, or get a satellite internet connection.

I cannot afford a sat phone. It's too costly, particularly to use it for Internet access. But , next time, I'll prepare an avid audio and video collection before I head out to the world without Internet. Last time I had two songs. They were both downloaded earlier in the day. I could not resist 3 smooth jazz tracks and one well-known song. All I can say is. 4 songs for 2 Weeks of nothingness. If I knew this was the case I would have prepared. I would have packed my laptop with television shows and movies, as well as a plethora of music videos as well as audio files with podcasts and songs. My favorite podcasts would be the soundtrack to my life. It's easy to download them, convert them to MP3 and save them on my computer, and then I can sit in my room and listen to everything I like to listen to while at home, yet I seldom get time to do so. This would be my "golden hour" or two weeks worth of gold. Instead, it was 2 weeks staring at the ceiling, running to meet passengers each whenever there's a noise in the corridors.

It was empty literally and literally. Never before have I been this bored. I was aware that the issue will eventually be due to the thick ice layer, so the boat had turn around and be pulled back to civilization. This was not a surprise however, the hours and hours of downtime could have been spent watching podcasts, listening to videos on fixing home problems or simply enjoying music. The next time, I'll convert Youtube videos from mp4 to MP3 format using my laptop. Bring them with you and listen to your favorite songs right from your laptop. Music can boost your spirits and help you feel better. Keep in mind that Hulu and Netflix apps are able to download movies and shows to stream offline. yt mp3 download These can also be brought to the long trip across the Arctic. Don't let boredom get you down. Enjoy yourself!
