How to get ISO 9001 Certification in Oman

For certification, you should implement an ISO 9001 Certification in Oman‘s quality management system, then have the QMS audited by a certified auditor to ensure that it meets the standard’s requirements.

An organization is certified for three years, after which they have to recertify.

Technically, ISO 9001 certification in Oman can only be obtained by organizations. Still, to make clear how individuals can become Certified Bodies (CB) or Registrars who can perform certification audits for companies, I added a section at the end.

For organizations
Organizations should understand that ISO 9001 is not a group they can merely “join.” ISO 9001 is a certification that must be achieved as part of an audit procedure.

To become ISO 9001 certified, you must:

Implement an ISO 9001 compliant quality management system
Audit your QMS against the latest ISO 9001 standard using a Certified Body (CB or Registrar).
You will need to recertify your certificate after three years (and every three years after that) to ensure that you’re still up to date (as well as to keep abreast of any changes to the standard).
