You can plan for the stream alone or with your partner. Eligibility for the stream is as follow-

  • You should have a total net asset of at least AUD 400,000 and interest in one or more qualifying businesses for at least 2 years immediately after you get invitation to apply for a business talent visa.
  • You should have net business and personal assets of at least AUD 1.5 million that you can show immediately or within 2 years after the visa is granted.
  • There should a turnover of at least AUD 3 million during two of the four fiscal years.
  • Moreover, your business history should be successful.
  • You should be focused to your business instead of other activities.
  • You should have genuine interest to start a business in Australia.
  • The age limit should be younger than 55 years. It also depends on the state/territory requirements.
  • Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream

Following are eligibility for the stream.

  • You must have got financial assistance from an Australian venture capital firm of at least AUD 1 million.
  • The financial aid you have received for your start-up, business development or product commercialization.
  • Getting membership of the AVCAL is essential.
  • You should have a formal agreement with the venture capital firm for the funding.
