The Best Mid – Range Smartphone For Samsung Galaxy A50 Review

Last year, if you told me that Samsung will soon make some of the best mid-range smartphones, I will laugh at you. Samsung's mid-range J-series and A-series phones are completely incompetent and designed until 2015. It took longer than expected, but the Chinese attack finally had an impact. Samsung is now attacking, and the Galaxy A50 is the best example of the company's decision to take it seriously.

About Our Samsung Galaxy A50 Reviews

I completed the review of the Galaxy A50 within a week. The Samsung Galaxy A50 evaluation unit using Samsung One UI on Android 9.0 is used on the Indian Airtel network. The unit is running a security patch on March 1, 2019, with the internal version number PPR1.180610.011.A505FDDU1ASC1.

Design

166 grams, USB-C, Display fingerprint reader

Plastic construction, multi-color finish, easy to scratch.
Samsung's M and A series phones share many design elements. The Galaxy M30 and A50 are particularly similar. There is no fundamental error in this, Samsung has made enough changes in the product to make them stand out.

The Galaxy A50 uses the M30's gradient style, giving it an attractive rainbow-like sheen. The phone looks great and will definitely turn around. Samsung chose to use plastic around, which helped to reduce the weight of the phone to 166 grams. Of course, the downside is that the phone is a fingerprint and a wear magnet. As time goes by, the phone will definitely have some scratches and you will get a high quality service.

Display

6.4-inch full HD+, super AMOLED, Infinity-U slot, always displayed online.

The 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display on the Galaxy A50 is definitely one of the highlights of this phone. It looks great and makes watching multimedia content a pleasant experience. With support for Widevine L1 DRM, the phone can stream HD content from Netflix.

The Super AMOLED display on the Galaxy A50 is great.
The screen is vibrant and looks a bit too saturated. There are some options in the setup menu that can be adjusted to your liking. As a Super AMOLED display, the black level is also deep enough.

The Galaxy A50 has a great view and the phone works comfortably outdoors. The screen brightness compensates for direct sunlight. This phone offers an option to switch notifications in the always-on display mode because there is no dedicated notification LED.

Hardware

Exynos 9610, Mali G72 MP3 GPU, 4 / 6GB RAM

64GB storage, 4,000mAh, 15 watts fast charging.

The Galaxy A50 uses the Exynos 9610 chipset and has not been seen on any Galaxy phone. The chipset uses a 10nm manufacturing process and uses an eight-core big.LITTLE architecture. The four Cortex A73 cores with a clock frequency of 2.3 GHz are powerful enough to be used in mobile phones, while the four Cortex A53 efficiencies are clocked at 1.6 GHz, ensuring that the phone consumes power when it is not performing intensive activities. There is a graphics port for the Mali G72 MP3 GPU to handle the business.

Performance

The Exynos 9610 ensures the daily availability of the Galaxy A50. Whether it's around the interface, animations, gestures, or any app you're advertising on your phone, it's a stable clip. Samsung has done a great job for hardware optimization software, and it feels great to use a mobile phone. Out of the box, the animation of the interface is a bit overbearing, but turning it off is easy (highly recommended).

Software

Unlike the Galaxy M-series smartphones, the Galaxy A50 works out of the box. Not only that, but the phone also has a One UI-based interface that is almost identical to the one you get on the Galaxy S10.

The software is easy to use and has a wide range of options to adjust to your preferences. You can also switch between buttons and gesture-based navigation from the options for displaying content on the always-on display to completely turning off the animation. If you choose, you can choose to wake up Bixby using the power button.

Camera

25MP main camera, 8MP wide angle, 5MP depth sensor, 25MP front camera.

As far as the camera is concerned, Samsung has strengthened the scale of the game. I am very keen on using wide-angle lenses because they provide more photography. The camera arrangement on the Galaxy A50 combines a 25MP main camera with an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5 megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is also equipped with a 25MP sensor.

Release Date And Price

The Galaxy A50 retails for £309 and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It also has 6GB of RAM, but not in most other regions.

Verdict

Samsung seems to be flooding the market with a variety of handsets ranging from entry-level to mid- to high-end. Mobile phones are gradually adding features, but the commonality between them must be to focus on the user experience. This is the true meaning of the Galaxy A50.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a high quality user experience.
Yes, it looks very good, yes, performance is enough for the price, but what really stands out for me is the clean and optimized user experience. This phone won't interfere with you or use extended permissions to bother you, it certainly won't pop up ads. For me, I imagine there are quite a few users, which is a very big incentive.
