Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin spoke about expectations from the performance of Russian figure skaters Mikhail Kolyada and Dmitry Aliev at the Grand Prix in Turin.
“I think that our athletes - Kolyada and Aliyev - at the Grand Prix in Turin can be in the top three [winners]. But with the Japanese Yuma Kagiyama, I think it is useless to compete now, he is quite stable, which we observed for two seasons. And in Kolyada's career, the only gap is stability, he owns everything else. The same goes for Aliyev. He is an insanely gifted person who has elements of the highest complexity, but you always need to skate cleanly, and we would very much like to see it, "TASS quotes Yagudin.
Stage "Grand Prix" in Turin will take place from 5 to 7 November.
