World of Warcraft Players Flock To New Legacy Server

World of Warcraft still retains an enthusiastic player base, whilst the groundbreaking MMO isn’t as common as it was at its peak. However, there’s a subset of adventurers who'd rather require a step back into your past than participate in the game in the current form, now they have another avenue to accomplish this.

Last year, World of Warcraft players flocked with a project called Nostalrius, which aimed to produce a “vanilla” experience devoid of many from the changes that were made ever since the game released thirteen in the past. Unfortunately, the project subsequently ran into trouble when Blizzard clamped recorded on its operation.

Nostalrius would later rise through the ashes, however, many players were reticent to speculate too much time in setting up a character in the event that Blizzard shuts the servers yet again. However, there’s now another similar project that has fans the chance relive some other period of World of Warcraft history.

Felmyst is often a custom server that aims to come back World of Warcraft to your state that it was in during the time of the release from the Burning Crusade expansion in 2007. The game was significantly less tailored toward casual play in those days, so it’s a nice-looking prospect for several hardcore players — in addition to anyone who has nostalgia for your era.

The project is in open beta, and anyone who’s considering taking part can register via its official website. This might cause some legal problems further down the road, as it’s tough to believe that Blizzard can be happy about people getting free entry to World of Warcraft, regardless of whether its an outdated version on the game.

Still, the studio has reiterated repeatedly that it doesn't have any interest in launching its version of projects like Nostalrius and Felmyst. It’s clear that Blizzard desires to keep looking for the future — but because there’s clearly a requirement for this sort of experience, it remains in sight whether that stance will stand firm to https://www.mmoah.com/warmane
