World of Warcraft has historically required players to change their avatar's gender, but it is expected to WoTLK Gold change with the latest expansion. In the moment, it costs $15 to change the gender of your character However, Shadowlands will abolish this cost completely. Through an interview Eurogamer executive producer John Hight has talked about this feature, and said that in the near future, you will be able change your gender and appearance at the barbershop. "As we were adding things to the game in Shadowlands and we realized "God, the only way that to alter your appearance in World of Warcraft is to take advantage of this paid service that you pay for,'" he says. "And we felt that it was not the right message. "This change will not arrive in the time frame of when our next update does because it's difficult to implement. "That's not something we could easily hotfix - unfortunately we can't do that right this moment," Hight explains. It's not known if this feature will be made available to all players, including players who do not purchase this expansion, as part of the Shadowlands update--but hopefully this will be the case. This answer was provided by the question asked by Eurogamer regarding Pelagos one of the characters mentioned in the July 2 Blizzard forum thread that many consider to be Blizzard's first transgender character. According to Hight, it's likely that other characters designed in-house at Blizzard are trans, even if it is not explicitly stated in-game: "knowing some of our designers and having conversations with them, I'm pretty sure that's what they intended to do. "Here are some more hints that P2Pah's own conversations together with World of Warcraft game director Ion Hazzikostas.
