The images were quickly taken down from the launcher, and users who even scrolled through the launcher's news section or switched tabs found that the release date announcement was no longer there. This would indicate that Blizzard posted the announcement accidentally.

The leaked news reads: "On June 1, return to Outland in World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic." This announcement doesn't expand on whether the June 1 release date is for the expansion itself, or if it for the pre-patch that typically leads up to an expansion.
