Workplace Injury Compensation: A Guide for UK Workers

What is a Workplace Injury?

A workplace injury UK is an injury that occurs in the course of employment. It can be caused by an accident or by a work-related illness, but it’s not always obvious what caused the injury.

Workplace injuries are often classified according to the type of work that led to them:

Industrial accidents occur when someone is injured while working with machinery or tools. For example, if you’re using a power tool and it slips out of your hands and strikes you on the foot, this would be considered an industrial accident because it happened while using equipment at work. If a colleague accidentally trips over your foot as they walk past and break their nose on impact with your face (it happens), then this would also count as an industrial accident because both parties were engaged in some kind of activity related to their roles within the business – even though neither party was actually carrying out any official duties at that particular moment!

How to Claim Compo?

If you have been injured at work, it is important that you report the injury to your employer. The sooner this happens, the better because it will allow them time to make arrangements for medical treatment and any other support that may be needed.
