The broker then wanted to lodge a formal complaint with us about the results and suggested that we stop providing mould inspections. In all likelihood, that agent was able to evade legal action. He might have been able to change the client's mind about doing the mould test had he arrived just a few minutes earlier and made the mold-free assertion before it had begun. If the client had been advised not to conduct mould testing by the agent because the agent had assured the client that mould was not a concern, the agent may have been the principal target in a lawsuit once the situation became apparent.

You cannot guarantee that a location is mold-free. Mold-free zones do not exist in the natural world. Having a home tested is the only method to confirm that there are no dangerous amounts of mould present. Mold can be present even if it can't be seen. Fixing the moisture problem and cleaning or removing the affected areas will prevent the mould from spreading and save your home.
