New projects are being designed to develop the African region.

Input Output Global (IOG) who developed Cardano, has recently signed with Ethiopian incubator iceaddis in order to support local creatives and entrepreneurs. In the context of Project Catalyst, the largest decentralized innovation fund in the world, the two partners created the Ariob incubator.

This partnership will assist in the acceleration of growth in projects that are funded through the Project Catalyst Foundation. The experience and resources of Venture Capital are available to startups to help them develop products that address real-world African problems. The community can choose the programs they wish to see, while the creators of the program will receive financial assistance to make their idea real.

Why Africa?

Africa is on the cusp of becoming a world hub for blockchain-related innovation. It is a vast continent with a wide array of needs for technology. Africa is free from the bonds to the old system. This makes it simpler for technological advancements to flourish and establish themselves.
