WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ECSTASY COULD KILL YOU

Perhaps one of the most dangerous things about ecstasy is most people do not view it as a harmful drug. Despite the harmful and potentially deadly side effects, people continue to abuse the drug.

Ecstasy was developed by a pharmaceutical company in 1912 and was originally known as MDMA. But it was not until 1953 when the military diazepam for dogs for sale uk began using it for psychological warfare testing that the real potential of ecstasy came out. Scientists realized that when a person ingested ecstasy their inhibitions would be lowered. Pharmaceutical companies then were on the quest to induce a chemical state of happiness.

In 1985, ecstasy was made illegal due to safety concerns many users were experiencing. These sometimes-deadly side effects still occur today with those who abuse ecstasy. Side effects, which include depression, suicidal ideation, reduced ability to concentrate, sleep, mood and anxiety disturbances.

Since ecstasy became illegal, drug dealers have had to go to extreme lengths in order to market and sell ecstasy. When ecstasy was first developed it was with methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) but after authorities banned the drug, there was MDMA to be found. Drug dealers have combined several different drugs in order to simulate the effects of ecstasy. LSD, cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, methamphetamine, rat poison, caffeine or dog deworming substances are all major ingredients in today's ecstasy.

In addition to the emotional side effects of ecstasy, some addicts will experience more serious complications.
