What's the differences of sink finishes

The finish of a stainless steel sink refers to the surface treatment that affects its appearance and durability. There are four main types of finishes:

Mirror finish: This is the most shiny and reflective finish, without a visible grain. It looks elegant and modern, but it also shows every scratch and water spot. It requires frequent polishing to maintain its shine.

Brushed and matte finishes: These are duller and less reflective finishes, with a visible grain. They hide scratches and stains better than mirror finishes, but they may also look dull and boring. They require less maintenance and cleaning.

Satin finish: This is the most popular and common finish, with a smooth and lustrous surface. It has a balance between shine and durability, resisting scratches and water spots well. It is easy to clean and maintain with mild soap and water.

Textured finish: This is the most rugged and durable finish, with a rough and uneven surface. It conceals damage and wear very well, but it may also trap dirt and bacteria. It requires more scrubbing and disinfecting to keep it clean.
