TERA has been around for some years now, and Tera Gold Xbox One is among a handful of MMORPGs to have true, sustained, long-lasting success. Did you need to change anything in-game to get ready for the influx of brand new level 1 players going into the game?

We'd already made quite a few changes to the leveling curve and also how we introduce content to fresh players, but at the run-up into our games launch, the staff took a hard look at what happens when players experience the main TERA plot. To streamline the procedure (and ease congestion in ancient zones)we re-wrote and re-routed a few quests for people through the early levels and to high-threat, high-reward content as quickly as possible.

In fact, we liked the changes , we rolled them into the PC version as well! Will there be some impact on updates / new content to the PC version of TERA with the accession of PS4 and Xbox One? What's the next pair of content that console gamers can expect?

The console versions of this game are manufactured by a separate team, so their advancement generally will not affect the PC version. For the time being, the PC version has the most current content, while the console variant plays a little bit of catch-up. In the end, our purpose is to bring the two variations closer together, though adapting new systems from PC to the consoles in a means which makes sense and can be instinctive to gamers sometimes makes that hard.

For us, the choice is always quality over quantity, although we'd love to have all versions of the game completely in sync, each stage has its own distinct features, audience, and challenges, and we need to approach each one separately.

From the console version especially, we've got a summer full of new content and events intended, so there should be no lack of things for console gamers to participate with.
