The manufacturing of Whiske was taken up by a Taiwanese firm called'Apollo Industries Ltd'. Both these firms had many designs in common. Both of them are made for top speed and exceptionally agile watercrafts. It had been the collaborative efforts of these two companies that created an ideal craft for military operations.

The late 1950s were the first production models of Whiske that were manufactured in the United Kingdom. In the 1960s the crafts have been manufactured by Apollo Industries and then generated in Taiwan.
