What Is Medical Tourism? Medical Tourism Facts Discussed

India comes with an ample range to emerge as a Responsible tourism destination. Indian tourism industry has developed hugely within the last five decades and it is for certain that in the approaching decades India will end up a warm tourist location of South East Asia. To keep that development process it is required that most the stakeholders of the Indian tourism market ie visit operators, government agencies and NGO's should perform in cohesion. They should protect the heritage of our place which in turn will benefit both the area areas and the tourists.

To develop India as a Tourism Responsible tourism destination, ICRT India which stands for Global Heart For Resposible Tourism works in collaboration with individual segment, government and local communities. It is just a Bangolore based non-profit organization, determines in 2006, whose major aim is always to "get responsibility for reaching sustainable tourism, and to generate greater places for folks to live in and for people to visit." It offers policy assistance, study and consultation on creating Responsible Tourism in India.

Among all Indian states, Kerala has pioneered in training innovative tourism ideas. It is a state which can be abundant with traditions and culture. It has begun Responsible tourism in the state to create consciousness among all stakeholders for a better environment to call home and visit. Kerala has structured the next International Responsible tourism discussion from 21st March to 24th March, 2008.Sunderban Rainforest Camp" started by Support Tourism class for connecting the heritage websites and secured areas of Sunderban with the livelihood of the area neighborhoods through community-based, environmentally and socially responsible tourism.

"Awake and shine" is another effective Responsible Tourism project. That task was started by Retired Indian Military General "Jimmy" Singh in Might 2006 to produce the Samthar Plateau near Kalimpong(40km) as a tourist location with respect to the homestay vacations, regional handicrafts and different products. That task has helped the area community to enhance their life style and the area to produce their mark on the Indian tourist map.

Still another the Responsible Tourism challenge of India is in the Anakkara Tart Tourism village in Idukki region of Kerala. That project was were only available in March 2004 by Women in Agriculture (WIA), a small grouping of women who has joined hands to keep character, reveal benefits of tourism among the area populace and increase the area economy.
