Boost Poker is a very different game of poker. As it is not very common, you might not have heard of it. But sometimes the players want to play this to experience a different format of the game. So, here let us get to know what are boost poker game rules.

Boost poker

It is a format of the game in which the boost cash-games and tournaments are played. It is a very unique and distinct type of game in which, if you are a player, you are allowed to play against a new opponent every time in every new hand. Isn't it peculiar? This is a feature that interests many players who want to play different versions of online card games.

Before we go ahead and explain more about the game and its poker rules, you must understand what is meant by the term "Pool."

Pool

The pool is the total number of players entries. If you are a player of boost poker, then you can join the pool many times. Every time you join the pool, it will be regarded as a new entry or a new session. In other words, you can play at various tables belonging to the same or one pool.

However, there is a capping on the number of times you can join the pool. It is an important fact to note that one player cannot join or rejoin the pool as much as he wants. The number of joining the pool is restricted, as per the rules of the online boost poker game. You must know that a player cannot join or rejoin the pool for more than four times. In poker online tournaments, the pool word often means an entire lot of the registered players. In the Boost tournament, when only two tables remain in the tournament, it goes back its regular format and does not remain a boost anymore.

Now, there is another important term to know and understand. It is called Fast-Fold. Here, we tell you what Fast-Fold means.

Fast-Fold

The fast-fold is boost poker that permits the players to discard their cards at any moment in the game. In this rule, the players can fold irrespective of their position and whether they have placed a bet in the game. As the name suggests, the players can fast-fold even if it is not their turn to participate in the game.

Though the players can fold anytime in the game, there are a few exceptions:

  • If you make a bet which is bigger or equal to other players' bet
  • If you have gone All-in.
  • When you fold cards, you can immediately proceed to play at another table or see the current game by using Fold & View
  • Players don't know who has folded until it is their turn.

Inference

This version has been able to attract the attention of many players. This game is possible because, in this game, the players do not just play against particular players sitting at one table, but against the entire pool of the players.
