Sex dolls are mainly known as love dolls or real life dolls, there are male dolls and female dolls and mannequin sex dolls

A sex doll (also love doll or blow up doll) is a class of toys the size and shape of a sex in masturbation assistance sex partner. The sex doll can consist of a whole body with a face, or just a head, pelvis or other body parts, with said accessories (vagina, anus, mouth, penis), used for sexual stimulation. These parts sometimes vibrate and may be removable or interchangeable.

History of sex dolls.

Some of the firstlove dolls were invented by Dutch sailors in the 17th century who would be isolated on long voyages. Known as dame de voyage by the French and dama de viaje by the Spanish, these masturbation dolls were made of sewn cloth or old clothes and were the direct predecessors of today's sex dolls. In the Rangu period, the Dutch sold some of these dolls to the Japanese, and the term "Dutch wife" is still sometimes used in Japan to refer to sex dolls.

Status of sex doll technology.

Whether or not this is a true description of the people who own such dolls, dolls like Real Doll may change the perception of those who own them, making the technology less about sex and more about artificial intelligence and companionship.

These new dolls won't stay still and corpse-like forever. If it's true to gender, Matt McMullen, founder of Toys for Tots, has something to say about the possibility that one day these "dolls" will look more like real human companions than ever before.

For now, the "Realbotix" line (as it's called) is focused on perfecting the head itself - designed to give users the illusion that they're dealing with the movements and artificially intelligent voice of a real, thinking, sentient human being.

The future of sex dolls.

The pace of progress has only accelerated in recent years, and if Sarah Hatheway Valverde's research is any indication, the number of people adopting the technology could increase dramatically as dolls become more human-like.

If you think they can't make robots move like normal people, check out the electronic animation used in Jordan Wolfson's (creepy-looking) female robot, which dances like a stripper in this art exhibit.
