On the most recent episode of Hot Ones, Post Malone was asked about his passion for D2R Ladder Items video games, particularly in relation to music. In answer, Malone asked host Sean Evans whether he'd been engaging in Elden Ring for himself.

Evans stated that he didn't had any idea, which led to Malone proposing the game. Even so, Post Malone explained that it is his responsibility to switch the music off when performing Elden Ring because it stresses the player too much.

"I change the music to the point of being completely silent (in Elden Ring] because it is crazy. It's akin to choirs, not angels, but] of demons. And they're like, 'We're going to* you to death.' There's no way to remain alive," Post Malone said about the soundtrack to the game. "After an incident, I'm like shaking so much that I'm going to have to get out smoking and think"I'm trying to calm down.'"

He specifically mentioned titles like Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda and Mario Bros. as just a handful that he adores. So while you might think that Elden Ring score might be slightly too much for him at times, it does sound like he's not a person to turn off the in-game soundtrack all the time.
