In order to record gaming content on your computer you would need a screen recording program. In my opinion, the best tool for this purpose is UniConverter. It is a multi-media tools package that offers in-built Screen Recorder module.
Here are those I have on my main laptop at the moment:
Razer Cortex: Gamecaster (free)
Nvidia Share (free)
Xsplit GameCaster & Broadcaster (free and paid _ I use the paid version)
OBS (free … and AWESOME !!!)
Lots of them actually. I like insights.gg and use it pretty often. By the way here is their official link. The thing is that, it is a professional quality screen recording app. You can use the app for both recording and streaming videos and creating educational tutorials. The application features recording videos of screen activity, gameplays, webcam, and HDMI capture devices. I have been using it for a year or so and should say it works pretty well for me. So, highly recommended by the way
