Research what is called permaculture. It is all about following the principles found in nature. No tilling, no labor intensive weeding necessary. You find ways to put back into your garden and continually grow the soil quality. You use mulching techniques to minimize watering. You use natural methods such as a balance of insects in your garden to control pests. Absolutely no artificial fertilizers or pesticides!
