Pros: I bought it soon before it came out and got it for only $40 and a free copy of magix music studio with it! MUCH happier with the music program than this.

Cons: Rendering is slow. Errors opening .mp4 and .avi. Effects given are numerous yet mostly useless. NO ADVANCED MASKING TOOLS. Random frames from videos jump to the beginning of clip and WILL show up in render, must be cut out. Tools could be easier.

Otherwise a good software.

7/10. Good video editor, but crashes very often.. doesn't work. I bought VEGAS Movie Studio 14 Platinum Steam Edition and it didn't work, and I refunded it and bought VEGAS Movie Studio 15 Platinum Steam Edition instead. Still didn't work dont buy. This is a very cool and user-friendly software for video editing. There are a lot of features but they are still really easy to use. I consider myself as a beginner in the video editing world but this software is the first one that I can properly use and get the results that I want in my videos (the other ones that I have tried were much to complicated and I couldn’t get my expected results out). Therefore I can just strongly recommend Vegas Movie Studio 15! Thanks for the awesome work!. The installation didn’t work, after the download. I tried everything I could find on internet. Did send an email to Magix, and the replied (in German language) saying that it was a problem of my windows, tried all again, didn’t work. Thought maybe the windows in my computer have a problem ( as the developer said) so I tried to install in another computer and ... same problem. This seems the software doesn’t work. I’m very disappointed, because I was with very high expectations to use this program and I couldn’t even open it.
Não recomendo, o programa nem abriu, pois não dá para instalar.. This program has its ups and downs. It's a great video editing tool for the price it is. I used to use Premiere Elements and this program, which is cheaper by the way, blows it way out of the park in my opinion. The downside is that sometimes it randomly crashes for me on startup and sometimes need to reinstall the program for it to work properly again. I would recommend this program if you don't really care about those issues.. Fun making videos and learning new techniques.

Sub plæs . I used some other video editing software before, but i like the products by magix, because there´s always a good UI and nice design. A good point of this software is, that it is only 500 mb big, so it can be installed with low free space on the hard disk.
Editing with this software is very easy and i didn´t need so search in the help function or in the internet. Nice.
