Three UK companies have confirmed that it will launch its 5G network in the second half of 2019 and have "cooperated with Huawei to bring 5G handsets to our customers."

The only 5G Huawei mobile phone launched so far is the impressive foldable Huawei Mate X, so this may be the first time the carrier confirmed the phone later this year.

It won't be cheap. Huawei confirmed at the Mate X conference that the free price of the SIM card is 2,299 euros (about 2,000 pounds), which is likely to translate into the high upfront and monthly costs of the contract.
