A UI Designer creates and shapes visual components such as buttons, text fields, icons and other objects that users interact with. A UX Designer also focuses on what makes an app easy to use but their main task is to ensure a great user experience through every detail in an app’s design. For example, one of our designers may decide to place navigation above or below a sign-up button because she knows it will make it easier for users to understand how they should get started with your product. Both roles require similar skillsets like attention to detail, user research and creativity; however different tasks fall into each category depending on where you work.
