Whether you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up or want a full pampering session, there are plenty of gorgeous nail bars to choose from. These salons all offer a wide range of treatments, including manicures, pedicures, waxing, eyelash extensions and tinting.

A subscription is also available, which entitles you to four or five nail treatments per month.
Mink

With two locations in Dublin, Mink is the place to go for a manicure worthy of a king. Their newest and most exciting offering is the Modern Rose line, a nine-product collection infused with natural ingredients to sooth and soothe your skin.

One of the first of its kind in Ireland, the Modern Rose products include a signature scent to wear after you’re done with your treatment. There’s also a top of the range skincare suite, as well as a full complement of cosmetic and haircare treatments.

If you’re in the market for the latest and greatest nail technology, look no further than Mink’s Artistic Colour Gloss – it’s a three week French manicure (EUR55) that’s sure to please. It’s worth mentioning that the company’s flagship Ballsbridge location has undergone an extensive refurbishment in the past year, with bespoke furniture and sinks from Truwood joinery, a Grainne Weber Architects design win and the aforementioned Modern Rose scented products in tow.

As the name suggests, this is one of the most well known nail salons in the country. Located on Berkeley Road in Phibsborough, Anna Maria offers a plethora of beauty treatments including the latest in nail technology, brow sculpting and tinting, as well as laser based hair removal. The best part about it is that the whole experience is a pampering and relaxing affair that will leave you feeling on top of your game in no time at all.
Tropical Popical

The brainchild of sisters Andrea Horan and Michelle Tallaght, Tropical Popical was born from a desire to bring a distinctly kitch approach to nail bars. Inspired by their travels around the US and Mexico, they set up their brightly coloured salon on South William Street.

Featuring neon signs, flamingo-centric decor and some whopper disco tunes, the salon has quickly become a Dublin institution. Known for its super-talented team of nail artists, it’s a party nail bar with a seriously infectious vibe (and Saoirse Ronan’s personal favourite when she comes to town).

On a more serious note, the salon is also a major player in the beauty scene. In conjunction with the National Gallery of Ireland, they’ve launched Renailssance, a collaboration that brings nail art to a wider audience. The exhibition includes live fine art printing and wearable art creation by dynamic design duo Jill & Gill; a fashion showcase from stylist Aisling Farinella and photographer Eilish McCormick; and a full public programme of activities, including talks, tours and workshops.

While the salon might seem like it’s aiming for the younger market, the girls behind the brand say it’s also a place to relax and unwind. A cafe serves up adaptogenic lattes, and there’s an infrared sauna as well as beauty treatments. The menu includes a range of polishes and shellac, and the prices are reasonably affordable. The salon also has merchandise for sale, including flip flops and T-shirts with designs based on the Tropical Popical aesthetic.
Skinfull Affairs

If sprucing up your nails is your thing, you’ll definitely want to check out this slick salon on Exchequer Street. They offer some of the most sexiest manicures we’ve ever had, and while they may be a little pricey (EUR50 for a month of unlimited treatments!), they’re worth it if you’re looking for an eco-friendly way to keep your toes happy and healthy. Skinfull Affairs also has a range of top quality cruelty free products and treatments that are sure to leave you feeling good about your choice of mani. Best of all, they have one of the coolest names in beauty.
Nails Inc

Founded in 1999 by Thea Green MBE, Nails Inc is one of the most iconic and award-winning nail polish brands in the world. It is renowned for its innovation, trend-led premium color quality and a range of notable celebrity collaborations a la Alexa Chung, Victoria Beckham, and Diane Von Furstenberg.

Its best-selling 73% Plant Power line of nail polishes are formulated with a high percentage of natural ingredients that are all long-lasting and 21-free. The brand also offers a selection of extra pigmented nail polish sets that offer a gorgeous, bright pop of colour.

With locations in the busiest shopping areas of Dublin, including South William St., Wicklow Street, Jervis and Arnotts, Dublin Nails is a great place to get a manicure when you’re busy navigating the city. They also offer kids’ manicures for under 10 euros, so if you have a little one in tow, this is the perfect spot to pop into!

This beauty bar is also a popular spot among Irish celebrities. Their two salons in Dublin 4 have a luxe feel, and their treatment menu features everything from Vitamin C to Rose Petal and Mint manis. You can also get waxing, spray tans and shellac nails here, too!
Fifth Avenue

The slickest nail bar in town, Fifth Avenue Beauty has two Dublin locations and a third outpost in Cork. The company is known for its wacky nail art designs, but you’ll be happy to know that they also offer a range of standard manicure treatments from shellac to mini-manicures and even waxing and spray tans. The nail bar is also a great place to try out the latest in LED light up nails. The aforementioned lights are especially impressive when you consider that they illuminate your fingers with LEDs that last up to 10 days! And while the neon display isn’t the cheapest, it is by far the most impressive and is worth every cent you pay for the experience. You’ll be back in for more, we promise.
Bushra’s Beauty

Bushra’s Beauty Nails is a slick, contemporary salon that’s been in business for more than a decade. With a network of eight locations across the county, it’s easy to see why they’re so popular. With an extensive menu of treatments, from Shellac to waxing and spray tans, there’s something for every nail lover.

They also have an impressive list of lash treatments, threading and massage to boot. Located on Mary Street, the salon feels very private and spacious even though it’s in a busy shopping area. sparkposh.com

In a crowded city centre, it’s nice to know that there are some places you can go for a little bit of luxury and Bushra’s is definitely one of them. They have a huge range of nails treatments to choose from and the prices are very reasonable.

They also have a subscription service that means you can come in four or five times a month for nail art and Shellac, which is a great way to keep your nails looking neat and tidy. They have a lovely team who make the experience a relaxing and enjoyable one, so it’s worth checking out if you’re in the mood for some nail pampering! The best part?
