Tom Holland recently made a surprising statement about the Spider-Man: No Way Home film, which is slated to be released in December 2021.

In the midst of the expectations of fans who want to have fun seeing Spider-Man fight the hordes of villains from the previous films, Tom Holland said that this third film will be packaged in a gloomy and brutal way.

This of course makes Marvel fans who expect to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield be worried if Tom's statement is true. At least one enjoyment is sacrificed.
Gloomy and Sad
The thing that people will be very surprised about is that this film is not fun. It's gloomy and sad, and it's going to have a huge impact," Tom Holland told Total Film, launching from GamesRadar, recently.

"You're going to see the characters you like go through things you'd never want them to go through. And I'm really excited to lean on that side of Peter Parker," he continued.

Strange Situation
Frankly, Tom Holland said that Peter Parker's fate in this film would be very bad because he was stuck in a complicated and almost unsolvable situation.

"Peter Parker was someone who was always looking up. He was always very positive. He was always like, 'I can fix this. I can do this.' Whereas in this film, he feels like he has met his match," explained Tom.

"He was like, 'I don't know what to do.' It's an aspect of the character I've never seen before, and I'm very, very excited to try to work on it," he continued.
