This is a game I basically bought due to nostalgia and how cheap the port for modern machines was. And I am really glad I made that decision. In terms of gameplay and design, it's sort of weird that a point and click adventure title from the mid-1990s holds up as well as this game does.

Some people complain about how silly the characters are but, to me, that's a major part of the charm of the game. You're a spy on the Titanic trying to stop WWI, WWII, and the Cold War all at once. If you think that's a story that should be taken seriously, you're sort of missing the point.

This really wouldn't be a bad game to remake. There is definitely room to expand and update the game. Expand the prologue chapter so you could explore more of WWII London than just your flat, make the ship look like it occupied by more than the handful of characters who are important to the plot, have each of the alternate futures actually be playable as a level, etc.. This is one of the most interesting takes on The Sinking of the RMS Titanic. It has very accurate interior and exterior shots of the ship and the characters are depicted like people from that era. The fact that this game centers on you exploring almost the entire ship is just astonishing. You are an agent sent back in time to prevent conflict in our future world and by doing so you must pay close attention on what you're doing. You get so many endings based on your decision making; getting the bad endings sometimes make you feel guilty on your past actions, but getting the perfect ending makes you feel proud, confident and satisfied.

Overall, for a game made in 1996, it certainly gives a marvelous impression of the Titanic. This game gets a overwhelmingly positive review from me.. I had this game back in the 90s when I was a kid and played the crap out of it a few years ago I rebought the game but as soon as I saw it on Steam it was in my cart two seconds later.

It is a really great mystery game based on espionage, item collecting and puzzel solving, where you explore the ship talking to strangers looking for clues and objects where eventually your choices and items affect the outcome of the game.

There are a number of different endings some good some bad but also a perfect ending as well to work towards.

I think most people who will be interested in this game are people who played it back when it first came out and people into older games.

Graphics wise it is dated and some scenes it can look pretty bad but it not once affected the game for me or made it hard to play.

I always thought this game had a cool menu system as well (saving is manual no auto saving).

. I played this game when it first cam out. I loved it then, and as cheesy as the graphics still are, I still love it. I love history and this game allows you to dive deep into history along with a fantasy idea that you can change a little bit of history or change some outcomes of people. This game plays heavy on the what ifs. I love the clues that I must follow to get to a new part of the game. Even though I played it years ago when it first came out, I am enjoying it as if it is the first time all over again.. This is a fantastic revival of an great old game. I had a blast trying to save europe from the ravages of WW2, as well as my career! Otherwise I hadnt noticed any bugs, and all appears to be working well. Thank you for bringing this classic to steam and a modern platform :-D May it work forever now!!. When's part 2. I love this game. Played it since I was young. I still do speed runs with it using my original game and a Mac OS 9 emulator. Hopefully version this will be less glitchy. Still would like a Mac compatible version through Steam though. For now, I guess we'll see how cleanly Windows 10 via Parallels runs it. Glad they put this one up.. A huge thanks to the Steam Community for making this fantastic and enjoyable game available. I find playing it both fun and relaxing. Playing Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time brings back many happy memories I experienced while playing it years ago.. I grew up playing this game with my older sister. I knew I had to play it again when it showed up on Steam for less than five bucks.

My favorite aspect of this game is the original soundtrack. It scared the hell out of me as a kid and stuck with me for decades. I don't think I'll ever forget the haunting theme of the cargo hold.

Even though it is quite short, this is still one of the most underrated retro games ever. The multiple endings give it a good amount of replayability.
