Welcome to

This list is in decreasing order of awesomeness:
1. Triund-Snowline-Lahesh cave trek
Triund is a 9km trek from Mcleod. Takes 4 hours on an average. Not difficult at all. You can get a guide, but it's not really required. You can get tents and sleeping bags on top of the triund hill. Just carry a lot of water, sunblock, paper soap and toilet paper. (This is a trek for newbies)
The trek is beautiful and you HAVE to camp there at night! Just lie down on the grass and let the night sky full of a million stars blow your mind away (The picture JUST can't convey the feeling. And this is the best we could get. Clicked with a shutter speed of 30 seconds :P)
3. If you want to do some serious trekking, you should trek further till Snowline and Lahesh Cave
Once you reach there, you get to sit and think on this rock :
It costs Rs 1700-2000 to para glide here. Add another 400/500 per person for travelling from Macleod to Bir. Supposed to be India's best.
5. Bhagsu falls
You trek a little to get to these chilly waters. Go before sunset and carry an extra pair of clothes or you will surely fall sick :P
Jump from a high rock or swim in the pool at the foot of the waterfalls!
Unforgettable experience
road trip to these places you can hire self drive car/bike rentals.
Also, don't forget to check out the Shivas cafe up at the falls.
Meet awesome people
This guy treks in the Himalayas for 6 months and surfs in Goa for the other 6. Great photographer. Has won multiple trekking races. Loves singing folk songs. And was SO nice to us
8. This Russian guy has been travelling for 15 years and can make beautiful music out of anything. See that gray metal thing in his hand? That's what he was playing when we met him.

Other Tibetan dishes at Zomsa
Italian and deserts at Clay Oven
Mc'Allo and Nirvana Kitchen are nice too
And street side momos too (the ones in front of Dalai Lama temple were nice)
I'd post pictures of food, but none of us were patient enough to click any :P
Check out the cafes at Dharamkot and Bhagsu
You really need to look for these cafes situated on random mountain paths. But some of them are really nice. We went to the Om café
