The son fulfilled his mother's wish of getting married in a helicopter. To fulfill this desire, Mohammad Mishu, the fourth among the five sons and one daughter of Kasem Ali from Joyra village in Manikganj Sadar Upazila, got married in a helicopter on Tuesday.

Locals said that Kasem Ali's son Mohammad Mishu, 35, had gone to Greece about 14 years ago. He worked for a private company there. Recently, he came to the village during his vacation. Mishu was married as per the family's decision.

Today, on Tuesday, Mishu's wedding took place. The bride, Trisha Akhtar, will be taken to her in-law's house in Habiganj. Around 12 PM, Mishu and the bride left Joyra village for their home in a helicopter. The villagers gathered in the field of Joyra village to see the newlyweds arriving in a helicopter.

According to Mishu's family, it cost him Tk 280,000 to rent a helicopter from Habiganj to bring the bride. After completing all the wedding arrangements, the helicopter returned in the afternoon. The groom's mother, sister, and other close relatives greeted the newlyweds with flowers upon their arrival. They were then taken to their home by rickshaw.


Speaking about the unique wedding, Mohammad Mishu said, "Since my birth, my mother had the desire to see her son get married in a helicopter. Today, that desire of my mother has been fulfilled. I am very happy about it. If my father were alive, he would also have been delighted."
