Asphalt pavement is one of the main structural forms of high-grade highway in China. As a new technology of asphalt pavement, double paving technology is popularized in construction, which can shorten the construction time and improve the working efficiency. In this paper, the basic principles, key technical characteristics and application of asphalt pavement pavement are analyzed, respectively. The purpose of this paper is to provide technical guidance for application of double paving technology in asphalt pavement construction, and to provide theoretical reference for promoting modern highway development.
