We broke the new Moto G7 (main), Moto G7 Plus (selected), Moto G7 Power (persistent) and Moto G7 Play (very cheap)

Practical, reasonable and wise. These may not be the exact terms you use to describe the technology. However, when the prospect of the pound collapses like the rest of the Christmas cookies, the "wise" choice may pay off. The Moto G7 series is full of them.

This year, the Moto G series was completely filled from the first day. The four Moto G phones will be available on March 1 and will range in price from £149 to £269. While all four will run Android 9 Pie and stick with Moto's familiar styling, and fully equipped with a fingerprint sensor and headphone jack, each has a unique appeal.

Moto G7

In addition to the long-lasting Power and the very affordable Play, the Motorola Moto G7's standard price of £239 may still look like a small vanilla. However, it is the cheapest model with a high-end flavor.

The back of the Moto G7 is a true curved glass. Its side is made of aluminum, and its 6.2-inch teardrop notch screen looks sharp thanks to 2270 x 1080 pixel resolution. It also has a waterproof rating of IP54.

This is the point where the budget phone starts to look and feel like a high-end phone. The potential problem with Motorola is that offer similar results below £200. However, after six years of highly regarded and reliable mobile phones, Moto G's brand weight can offset the difference of 40 pounds.

The Moto G7 is also the first in the series to feature an optically stable camera with a 12 megapixel sensor and a secondary depth camera. Adding OIS should fundamentally improve the quality of nighttime photos.

Moto G7 Player

The Motorola Moto G7 Play is the most affordable and costs £149. It has some of the same cuts as the highly respected Moto G6 Play last year. The back is made of plastic and the surface is embellished with loose simulated textured glass. At 1512 x 720 pixels, the resolution of a 5.7-inch screen is significantly lower than full HD.

In some respects, its predecessor is a lower-end phone that offers a traditional 3000mAh battery capacity instead of a 4000mAh battery. However, Motorola has further lowered prices to compete with Honor and British newcomer of other smartphones highly aggressive pricing strategy.

Moto G7 Power

The Motorola Moto G7 Power retains the trading price of these elements at a lower price on Play and costs £179 as the Moto G6 Play did. High battery capacity is the main attraction. According to Motorola's own estimates, the 5000mAh battery should last for 2.5 days.

A turbocharger is also bundled to avoid charging time too slowly. The G7 Power also has a large 6.2-inch screen with a small gap that should prove to be popular among heavy-duty mobile phone users with lightweight wallets. Like the G7 Play, it has a plastic back and an imitation of standard glossy glass instead of textured glass.

All three of these phones are powered by the Snapdragon 632 CPU, which we haven't used in the past.
