Katelin Ballantine, a struggling movie producer in search of an investor, reluctantly follows the promise of money into Dublin's drug underworld where she witnesses a botched murder attempt. Forced to finish the job, she is blackmailed into killing for Edmund Murren, a small time, ruthless drug supplier hell bent on becoming top dog. Two years later, Katelin has put a who's who list of drug bosses six feet under and uses her producer role to maintain a low profile. But, when a seemingly simple job unexpectedly spirals out of control, and her identity becomes known to Murren's remaining ambitious and vengeful rivals, she is cut loose. Now the target, and with family in the line of fire, Katelin must adapt to survive the onslaught of the drug underworld as the thin veil masking her double life slips away.
An independent movie producer blackmailed into murdering for a ruthless mob boss struggles to protect her family when an ambitious pretender to her boss' throne exposes her identity, and forces her to carry out a daring, if suicidal, plan, that if successful will see him become top dog.
After following the creation of this wonderful dramatic take on Dublins underworld from the casting to the first premier i find it easy to say "fantastic from start to finish" one of those films that when the end credits roll you just want to go right back and watch it over again,i know i did and could still watch it over several times its that kind of film The story line is clever and original with a much unknown cast makes it interesting as they each give a performance that warrants searching for other works along the same lines thought you may find some snips here and there by some of them where for the most part each is a budding new star in there own right these guys pulled out the stops to bring this film to a new level and that is an easy thing to say after watching it closely several times .
