The First Mid-Range 5G Smartphone For Samsung Galaxy

The first British network confirmed that they will start launching 5G connections this summer (see below for the story of Handset recycle July).

The new smartphone is similar in design to the S10 series introduced by Korean technology giants earlier this year, but with a larger 6.7-inch display and four rear-facing cameras.

It will also include larger batteries and fast wired and wireless charging capabilities.

Samsung has launched a new Galaxy A90 5G mid-range smartphone, which the company hopes will allow more people to use 5G.

The new Galaxy A90 5G was announced before the IFA Technology Trade Show in Berlin, which opened later this week.

Earlier this summer, the first 5G networks began to be launched in the UK, and the speed of the technology is expected to be several times that of the existing 4G.

Samsung's Galaxy A-series devices are designed to be a low-cost version of the company's flagship Galaxy S and Note devices - with similar features but at a lower price.

The A90 5G features a 6.7-inch display, a three-post camera system and a 320,000-pixel front-facing camera.

Samsung has not confirmed the UK pricing for the device, but said it will go on sale on October 4.

The company's Galaxy S10 and Note 10 5G versions sell for more than £1,000. However, it is reported that the A90 5G is priced at around £600.

Conor Pierce, vice president of Samsung and UK and Ireland, said :

We are excited about the success of the Galaxy A series – this series of smartphones is designed for the new Era of Live, focusing on the basic features people want most, including high-quality cameras, long-lasting batteries and immersive displays.

Samsung and our partners in the 5G ecosystem work together to bring 5G to as many people as possible. Now we offer 5G connectivity in the entire Galaxy smartphone portfolio, providing high-speed access and connectivity for more people.

The announcement is expected to be the first of many new phones launched at IFA this week in Berlin, with technology giants.

Samsung said the phone will allow users to download video content at an unprecedented speed, and because of the speed of 5G, you can enjoy "console-style, graphics-rich games" without a Wi-Fi connection.

Kate Beaumont, Samsung's director of innovation, technology and services, said :

The Galaxy S10 5G opens up a whole new mobile experience, offering consumers a world full of possibilities: a larger 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED display; a new 3D depth camera with live-focus video; and the largest of the Galaxy S-series battery.

The Galaxy S10 5G is a visionary ultra-high-end device for those who want to stay ahead.

Several other smartphone manufacturers are also planning to be compatible with 5G devices.
