When sharks come from afar, searching for food find a beach for meat. A group of people must stop them before they head for the beach. Will they make it?
This is certainly among the worst movies of the still young 21st century. Good luck making it all the way through this one, in fact I seriously think the only other people who will do so are the cast and crew, their friends and neighbors. Cardboard acting, lame plot, soundtrack straight from a 1970s XXX flick and special effects on par with a high school stage production. The writing is just awful and leaves the viewer feeling insulted by canned plot prefacing and background information.

This film bills itself as a sci-fi/action/thriller, but I actually thought it was a comedy - everything about the film is so bad I thought it was a spoof. I love the comment "Is it supposed to be funny?" We had that exact debate as we watched the movie. I can't spoil the ending because it's so massively predicable. Almost every scene is predictable. The script is 7th grade level. I pity these actors having to endure doing these cliché stupid lines. As most 'scary' movies they love to start out with the sorority or fraternity initiation stunt in the dark. We all know it's going to go tragic somehow. Of course one or all will encounter the threat or monster. Then these summer scary movies follow this general plot: The science project funded by the government or bad oil company has gone array. The scientists who truly care and a side personal issue or two. Then the unknowing victims who many learn too late as the scientist's warnings fall on deaf ears. Then there's the race against some deadline- either time or monster containment. In the end there's the last second saving of the world, co-star or whatever other potential victims. These scary movies also love a false ending thing. The mass murderer is dead, the monster is dead, the threat of whatever is gone and we all relax. Of course then in the background we see the threat arise and the last struggle is on until it's finally killed. Then we have the happy wrap up and the personal issues worked through. The last clip of most of these types of movies, just before the credits, has the hint of the threat or monster still really not gone, this one is no exception. Like I said, the script is bad. Film students in college would be marked a "C" to hand in such a movie. I guess in a way it is a good movie. What's its target audience? High school kids going to a summer scare flick. They're looking for a social event with some blood and gore, good looking scantily clad girls, and not much of a plot to keep track of. Mindless PG-13 entertainment, that's what it is.
