The best video game companies in the world come together in Los Angeles to show the public the next works and consoles that they will bring to the market.

Microsoft, Nintendo, Bethesda, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft... the most important companies in the world of videogames meet this week in Los Angeles to celebrate the fair with the most spectators in the sector, E3, where through different conferences, they make known to the public the products that will hit the market in the coming years.

Electronic Arts

Although it was not in Los Angeles and it is not even on the E3 agenda , EA organized an event on the same date so as not to be left behind announcing the news of its company.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was the first title to come to the fore. Previously announced, at EA Play we were able to see the first 15 minutes of gameplay and learn about the plot of the work created by Stig Asmussen and Vince Zampella. Cal Kestis is the protagonist of a story that happened after chapter III of the saga.

The little padawan must face the various enemies that are in his path and survive Order 66. The video also shows the use of the force and the lightsaber and one of the first final bosses. From what little can be seen, the latest Star Wars will combine platforms and action. Its official release date will be November 15 for Xbox, PC and PS4

Apex Legends season two

After a spectacular start, Apex Legends will continue to adapt to get back to the pace it showed in its early days . To do this, they have presented the trailer for its second season, which incorporates a new style of play, changes in the design of the map, a new weapon and a new legend, Wattson.

The motto of the new season , which begins on July 2, will be "Battle Charge" and it will add a competitive mode by levels , the ranked mode . The company has not wanted to extend the announcement and ensures that many more news will be known as the date approaches.

Battlefield V will also bring new elements. Four new maps will be added: Marita, where the Battle of Greece took place; Al-Sandan, expansive and perfect for multiplayer, Operation Underground, where the action moves from an open field to the underground; and a small French town with very colorful surroundings, but about which little else is known.

All of this will be available for free starting in September with the Chapter 5 title update.

Another of the most anticipated games was FIFA 20 . After years in which the public asked for the return of Fifa Street, EA responds by incorporating a similar game mode in the next edition. In Volta Football we can face rivals on the street without a referee or rules, with the only requirement that the show is served.

One of the strongest points of this new mode is customization : we will be able to detail our character to the maximum (gender, style of play, appearance...) and enjoy the most street football with him.

Microsoft Xbox

When Phil Spencer came out to the podium saying that they would be the company that would teach more and better games , the entire public thought that it would be just a slogan to relaunch the brand. But he was not wrong: during the more than 2 hours of conference he showed 60 titles.

But it was not the games that were the most important announcements, but the line of next-generation consoles. Xbox Scarlett , whose release date will be Christmas 2020, will have a rate of 120 fps and can be seen at 8K, an improvement on what is already established and which shows that new technologies have no limits in terms of graphic improvement. Along with it will come, among many other games, Gears 5 .

One of the most successful titles was, without a doubt, Cyberpunk 2077 , with Keanu Reeves as the protagonist. The action RPG will be developed by CD Projekt RED, creators of the well-known The Witcher saga.

Halo Infinite

Despite the fact that snippets of the next Halo title were already shown last year , at E3 2019 we were finally able to put a date and a face on the game. Halo Infinite , which will once again feature The Boss, will completely change its graphics engine: Slipspace.

With the story at its height, Halo is due out in late 2020 for this console generation and the next, so we won't have to directly purchase Xbox Scarlett to follow along.

Return Digital

Famous for incorporating performances during their conference , Devolver Digital has not disappointed this year. With a gore style and characters who played a script, the company has known how to spread the echo of its ads.

The first novelty was the title Fall Guys, a kind of battle royale in which there are more than 100 selectable characters that will have to overcome obstacles and eliminate their rivals. It is expected in 2020 for PS4 and PC.

Carrion was the work that gave meaning to the conference show. In it we embody a giant bug with tentacles that crushes enemies while moving around the map in what appears to be an 8-bit platformer. His music and terrifying sounds focused the attention of the viewers.

But it wasn't all games. To satisfy the nostalgia of the most veteran players, Devolver showed off its new arcade machine , Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead, which will incorporate two pistols to eliminate the enemies that appear on the map. It is only known that it will arrive in 2020 and its price is still unknown.

Bethesda

The American company started in a big way by announcing that it would release Elder Scrolls Blades , the spinoff of Oblivion , for free at the end of 2019 for Nintendo Switch . But it was not the best received news among the public.

Among the new titles, it was announced that Fallout 76 will have a new free update, Wastelanders, which will add a battle royale known as Nuclear Winter. During their presentation they were also critical of the weak points of the game.

The first person shooter were the great proclamations of the company. Wolfestein Youngblood received an excellent reception among the public. In this dystopian work we will embody the twin daughters of BJ, the protagonist of the previous titles that has given so much joy to Bethesda.

The annual portion of Doom could not be missing from the hand of Doom Eternal , which with a very short trailer that shows small traces of its gameplay delighted all those who came to the conference. For now, it is known that it will incorporate a multiplayer mode, although we will have to wait for the next few months to find out more details about a game that will be released on November 22.

Ghoswire Tokyo , Commander Keen , Rage 2 , Orion and Deathloop were the rest of the announcements from an American company that this year has bet heavily on its new titles.

PC Gaming Show

One of the conferences most focused on the computer public did not leave anyone indifferent. Although with more humble titles, its impact was seen on Social Networks. Among the most important announcements was the launch of the second edition of Chivalry.

With the ability to battle up to 64 players simultaneously, Torn Banner Studios has confirmed that horses will also be added to battles, changing the tighter and more complex combat system . The release date will be 2020 and it will be released exclusively for the Epic Games Store.

With similar gameplay , they also showed Last Oasis , set in a medieval universe. But if we talk about second deliveries, Chivalry was not left alone. Evil Genius 2 , which already has an open beta, will delight all fans of strategy and action games.

Among the most anticipated titles were Zombie Army 4: Dead War and the third installment of Shenmue which, although it was scheduled to be released in August, will finally do so in November to finish fixing bugs and improve the gaming experience.

Square Enix

The Japanese corporation did not wait and showed its novelties before a very devoted public that started to applause when the name of Final Fantasy came to the fore... And it was not for less, because the long-awaited will finally reach the hands of the most nostalgic remastering of Final Fantasy VII , the play starring Cloud.

One of the bombshells was Marvel's Avengers , the game of one of the most successful cinematographic phenomena in the world that will be released in May of next year. As can be seen in the trailer, it will be a third-person game and can be played cooperatively. At the moment there are only 5 playable characters: Iron Man, Captain America, Thos, Black Widow and Hulk.

Dying Light 2 , the post-apocalyptic horror game, also has a spring 2020 release date. Along with it will come Octopath Traveler, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles  and the long-awaited Outriders , which delighted the audience with a spectacular cinematic .

Nintendo

As a culmination to one of the most important events in the sector, Nintendo offered the latest news regarding its portable console and the games that would come soon. Among all of them, one in particular shone: the sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild .

What was one of the best games of 2017 will have a second part that will continue with the original story. Although no release date has yet been set, during the event it was assured that it is still in development and that it will take time to arrive.

One of the most promising and little-known games was Astral Chain , by Platinium Games, whose trailer showed both cinematics and gameplay , as well as the playable characters and their abilities. The game will go on sale on August 30 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
