The Another Smartphone For Huawei Mate X Release Date

Huawei reveals Mate X latency and the possibility of more display

Update: Huawei sent an official statement to Mobilephone Repairer stating that "Huawei confirmed that Mate X is still scheduled to be launched between September and November 2019."
Considering that our information comes directly from Huawei's press conference at its China headquarters, we still believe that our sources are correct.

Original Story : Mobilephone Repairer was informed held at Huawei's Shenzhen headquarters today that the collapsible Huawei Mate X is unlikely to be launched before November, which means delaying the launch in September.

The launch date in September is no longer possible, making the other smartphones the first foldable marketable door. However, the company is convinced that Mate X will be available before the end of 2019.

We also have more exciting updates : the next Mate X may have more screens, it may be launched next year.

Where will Huawei Mate X follow up with more displays? By replacing the steel back cover of the current Huawei Mate X on the back of the glass, these glass surfaces can be used to touch the display.

Huawei's Yanmin Wang, president of Huawei's Huawei Consumer Business Group in Northern Europe and Canada, has confirmed that the upcoming Mate X will use the Kirin 990 chipset.

Although Kirin 990 is the new chipset manufacturer we will see in Huawei Mate 30, it is not completely unexpected, but it has not been officially confirmed. What is happening now.

Wang also said that the foldable mobile phone will be "coming soon" and we still hope to launch it before the end of this year.

The phone was announced in MWC in 2019 in February and was launched in June. It was eventually pushed back to September, but the idea quickly disappeared.

At present, Huawei said that it is "impossible" to meet the September release, and the goal is to launch Mate X by 2020, and November may become a possible release window.

However, the Mate X engineering team also has many other ideas. One of them is the glass back mentioned above. The other is a "slice" display - imaginable it looks like a rolled out sunshade - it can extend from the bottom of the phone. This technology can still be implemented for many years (even up to ten years), but it shows the ideas of the Huawei engineering team.

However, the Mate X front monitor is now covered by plastic because the glass does not fold at all - however.

Obviously there are big challenges, especially during the assembly process. Given the extra glass surfaces (perhaps their tangible display characteristics), engineering teams need to deal with new bonding complexities.
