But when you thank God it is about Him and about you.

So thankfulness is greater than praise. Praise is a confession. When you praise God you confess God. And it is always good to confess. But when you thank God you confess yourself too.

Why should you confess yourself? Because when you are sealed God has done something great for you. It is not like when God provided for you so you could make house payments.

And it is not like when he gave you a beloved spouse. No. When you are sealed God gives you a great spiritual gift. It is not a gift of this world anymore. It is a gift of the world to come.

Heaven is the world to come. And your future in this world while you await Heaven. Because when you are sealed and you are heading to Heaven you are completely sanctified with that heavenly promise.

That is what you thank God for. You thank Him for choosing you. You thank Him for writing His Name upon you, because when you are sealed He will write His Name upon you. And you thank Him for all that it means to have His Name written upon you. It means you belong to Him. It means He claims you. It means He trusts you. He has faith in you just like you have faith in Him.

When you praise God, and especially when you thank him, you will celebrate the coming of Jesus. That was the best gift God ever gave to people. And the best gift He will ever give you personally is the Seal.
