The thing that I think is a little bit hard for scientists to kind of wrap their heads around and doctors, and you know with cannabinoids, you can do a dose-response. Buy Terpenes We're used to that, right? Yeah. You take x amount, you get this physiological effect, and we can do that with cannabinoids terpenes, not as much. I would never come out and say that lavender doesn't do anything because, you know what, there's plenty of people who will say swear that it does. The difference is the science of it is finding the mechanism of action. Meaning, how does it actually do the thing that you say it's going to do? That's where the challenge is, and so do terpenes have a medical benefit by themselves? It's hard to say we don't have any scientific data to prove that. Are terpenes the reason.. can we talk about terpenes and Indica versus Sativa? Yeah, absolutely, and that's how we should be talking about it because actually Medical Cannabis... nowadays if you go back and you look at all the genetic strains that exist, there is almost very little difference between cannabinoid content in any of the strains.

I mean, you'll see some that are super high in THC, but generally, you're somewhere between, you know anywhere from 18% to 24% on average, and the only difference between this Super Sour Diesel and you know that Purple Haze that you're indicating as one is a Sativa one is an Indica, is the terpene content. Even the terpenes don't vary tons — the actual terpenes are in there. It's just the concentrations of those terpenes. Here's what I would say as a scientist: True Terpenes What we do know is that terpenes have some ability or affinity to certain cannabinoids. They can help them permeate quicker and almost as a solvent, which means that if I'm thinking about a Sativa or an energetic type weed, it's most likely energetic terpenes; being citrullines, limousines, you know, and all of these types of things, which actually have a higher absorption rate or a better solvent capability around Delta 9, around THC Delta 9. So that's why I get fired up. I have a quick effect whereas you look at your earthy ones humulin, myrcenes, some of those types are larger molecules and they probably hinder total absorption, so it's this long period of absorption so that probably is a downregulating function.

So, you're saying that the more citrusy smells that I get in the flower may help this product be more energetic, more of a daytime product when I'm busy doing things, and I'm using it for pain. Yes, potentially, but I always have to say put caveats on it because there's not a lot of data that says that the terpenes themselves, by themselves, have medical benefit, Terpenes for sale and so I would say that if you're smoking flower with no terpenes, it would be a very lame experience. Whether they're botanical terpenes or cannabis-derived terpenes molecularly, they are the same, but people have a preference for it. You shouldn't disregard the way people feel about things, but science, from a science perspective, it's a little hard. I have a little game to play, though, with you. OK, I'm ready. Before we get into that, what I'm hearing is terpenes are part of the entourage experience with medical marijuana, right, so it's important to understand that we want to get that whole experience.
