Symptoms of Hypertension:-

Hypertension is usually a state of silence. Most individuals do not feel symptoms at all. The condition may take years or even decades to reach levels severe enough for symptoms to become apparent. These symptoms can even then be attributed to other problems.

Symptoms may involve extreme hypertension:

Serious headaches
Shortness of breath
Nosebleeds
Flushing
Dizziness
Chest pain
Visual changes
Blood in the urine
Irregular heartbeat
Tiredness
Feeling hot
Pain in the back of the neck
Long-term high blood pressure can cause blurred or double vision and damage to the eyes.

Such signs need medical attention right away. These will not occur in all with hypertension but it may be dangerous to wait for a symptom of this disorder to appear.
