The famous coach of Russian synchronized swimmers Tatyana Danchenko, who became the hero of "Talk on Fridays", spoke about her salary.

- On the one hand, I completely surrender myself to work. On the other hand, I try not to dwell on it, I do not forget about my favorite hobbies, thanks to which I have found a lot of new friends.

- Are you talking about the sailing regatta?

- Regatta, practical shooting, fishing, mushroom hunting ... This is plus the support of loved ones and does not allow you to fold your wings, to score for everything. To put at the forefront not sports achievements, but commercial interests. After all, I could monetize my name, easily travel to different countries with consultations and master classes. I would get decent money. Incomparable to what they pay at the Ministry of Sports.

- What is your salary?

- 70 thousand rubles. Decorated there part-time.

- Well well.

- Yes, because the full rate is 130 thousand per month. For some it is a huge amount. But not for the coach of the national team, who spends 10 hours in the pool every day and consistently brings the country gold medals. Thanks to the general director of Yunost Moskvy, Vladimir Prokhorov, and the federation's board of trustees for supporting us financially. This allows you to earn more than you would have accumulated in the national team. It's just not profitable for me to go there.

- It is logical.

- It is impossible to issue a part-time full-time job - it is contrary to the law of the Russian Federation. And we do not provide for individual contracts. So, as a senior coach of the national team, I get 70 thousand.

- Once you told that you were called to China, promised mountains of gold.

- It was. The last time I was invited was four years ago. Then they stopped. Probably lost hope. Understood - I will refuse anyway.

- Why?

- I don’t want to waste time on this, taking it away from my athletes. I raised them from childhood. Both Sveta Romashin and Varya Subbotina. And I already consider Sveta Kolesnichenko mine, she has been training with me for eight years. It's a pity to leave them. Although all these years she lived non-stop. Early in the morning I rushed to Lake Krugloye, the base of the national team, from 08.30 to 14.30 coached the duet. Then I moved to Varshavka, to the Trud pool, where Varya, Tanya Gaidai, Maya Doroshko and other junior synchronized swimmers were waiting for me.
