While this gem does have Yuri, it has a saddening twist that I shant spoil. Needless to say, it doesn't end the way you'd expect it to. Still a very good story regardless, despite the revelation that happens during the story. That's all i'll say to avoid too many spoilers. All-in-all, a very good story, but for Yuri-Lovers such as myself, it just really makes me sad the way it ends.. What a really disturbing game. Simply awesome.. A simple RPG maker game that toys with some interesting concepts that I won't spoil. Well worth the small amount of time it takes to playthrough. Gameplay mechanics are marred slightly due to a few poorly explained puzzles, which is the game's challenge, along with trying to piece together the rather touching story through some interesting concepts. I do wish that the developer improved the game with more features, but I'm still pleasantly suprised at what came out of RPG maker.. Well this was.indteresting. It was certainly different than Close Your Eyes. It was more rough, not as polished or consice, but in no way does that mean bad. The horror element was quite nice, unexpected at some points, but still nice. Again, a little reminiscent of Silent Hill. I thought the fact that you made the Demon King a Let's Player was really creative, too. At some points, the story was a little vauge, and other parts were realy fleshed out, but other than that, still great. Very excited for Red Haze in the next few days! ^^ Keep it up! If you're a fan of RPG Maker horror games, play it.. Take the Dream IX is a RpgMaker game about Gwen and her true love that's just been kidnapped! Oh no, You gotta go after her! It has some horror aspects, and it plays with certain fourth wall notions, along with a cast of interesting characters, each with their traits and stories, however little of it you may get to know. Now, it's not your regular horror game, it will NOT rely on cheap jumpscares or overused zombie-whatever, but rather on atmosphere and the uncertainty. All in all a great experience for a medium-lenght rpgmaker game, highly recommended if you enjoy some midly psichological horror.. It seemed fairly well made at first, but after playing the intro for half an hour, there was still almost no player decision. There was not a single fight. There was only one puzzle. None of the buildings or vendors could be interacted with. There were not even dialogue options. Truthfully, it wasn't really even a game so far. The story and characters were amusing, but the rest was very empty.. what can i say about this game? hmm, creepy things, funny dialogue, mind boggling puzzles, and a crayon killer plant. it's perfect! if you enjoy the sound of any of those things, i highly recommend this game.. really good game, interesting plot, i have covered the first part on steam, feel free to check it out! :). Take the Dream IX is a pretty neat surreal adventure RPG that I found myself enjoying. The biggest surprise to me was that from the moment I started playing I somehow recognized it was from the same devs that made Close Your Eyes I did not think it had left an impression on me but I remembered it right away when I heard the voice acting and started moving around. Thats when I realized I was now a fan of Yai Gameworks games. I am looking forward to trying Red Haze now as well! I wont go into much plot stuff here but I love the approach to horror in a sort of surreal way the devs take, I liked Take the Dream IX and if you liked Close your Eyes, are a fan of indie horror games, or just looking for a free to play game to try I would recommend Take the Dream IX to that exact niche of player.
