In the Bible, Jesus tells us to take no thought for tomorrow; that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. He emphasizes living in the current moment, in the eternal Now. He gives us the key to peace and eternal life. These are the Heralds of Eternity!

God is pure love, and God desires to reveal pure love by which everything is shared. “In the holy instant God is remembered, and the language of communication with your entire brothers is remembered with Him.” (T-15.VI.8) In the holy instant, we remember God. There's no concealment, and you can find no private thoughts, no worries or concerns for the future, or regrets concerning the past. a course in miracles audio It's an experience of perfect peace. This is exactly what Jesus is calling us into.

We're asked to forget about our ideas about time. We may have thought that something was missing in the past, and we took action to try and correct it, longing for a better future. But Jesus is saying, “Don't a cure for a better future. The long run is just a trick! Now's all there is.”

And so we're now asking ourselves the question, what's it exactly about? What's the purpose for this world and for my relationships? What's the purpose of time and space? Jesus tells us that the current moment is the point. Our vocation of healing (of the mind) is the point.

How Practical Is This?

Jesus and the Holy Spirit have a plan for every and everyone of us. It's very precise, and it's individualized. In each moment, they instruct us where you can go, what direction to go, and who to be with. They instruct us what books to read, what movies to view, what to eat, and what not to eat. We receive instructions on how best to get our daily bread, with regards to inspiration and also food, clothing, shelter. The Spirit is indeed practical. When we give our mind to living and experiencing the holy instant, the Holy Spirit provides everything we want in Earth terms.

When you can find plans to be manufactured, we are told of them. “You will need take thought for nothing, careless of everything except the only real purpose that you'd fulfill.” (T-20.IV.8) In lesson 135, he tells us:

“A healed mind doesn't plan. It carries out the plans so it receives through listening to wisdom that is not its own. It waits until it's been taught what should be performed, and then proceeds to accomplish it. It does not depend upon itself for anything except its adequacy to fulfill the plans assigned to it. It's secure in certainty that obstacles can't impede its progress to accomplishment of any goal that serves the greater plan established for the great of everyone.” (W-pI.135.11)
