Born Andraé Edward Crouch on September 1st, 1942 in Los Angeles, the son of Benjamin Jerome and Catherine Dorothea Crouch, Andrae is today one of the very most very respectable figures within modern contemporary gospel music and modern Christian music. At an early on age, Crouch visited his parents' church, where he turned subjected to gospel music , growing a musical trio early up with double brother Sandra and his older brother Benjamin.
