Smok Morph Review – This one’s for you Morph!

Lately, over here at TVape, it’s just been pod-style device after pod-style device and while we’re always happy to see the list of choices grow for those looking for a portable vape, we couldn’t help but feel a bit relieved when the smok morph 2019 landed on our doorstep awaiting review. In what almost feels like a throwback to the good old days when high powered box mods reigned supreme in the vaping industry, the Smok Morph 219 looks to live up and maybe even surpass all its older brothers. The device harkens back to the days of the ultra-popular Smok Alien which was THE device that pretty much put Smok on the map. The Smok Morph 219 shares a lot of similarities with the Alien in the aesthetics department, which is mostly due to the two-tone colorway created by the main body of the device and the parallelogram-shaped frame that outlines the OLED display.

And speaking of OLED displays, the Smok Morph 219 sports a fresh new screen along with newly designed user interface that looks both intuitive and pretty at the same time. The device forgoes the standard physical buttons used for adjusting temperature and wattage and simply relies on the on-screen buttons on the capacitive screen which feels remarkably responsive.

The side of the Smok Morph 219 features the classic firing bar that was present in many of Smok’s high powered lineup but it seems like they’ve stepped up the quality on the parts used this time around. The firing bar feels both smooth and snappy, letting you know the actual moment where the sensor actuates and when the mod starts firing up, resulting in a satisfyingly responsive tactile experience.
