Seven Questions that Can Help Us Make "Quality of Life" Decisions."

What do you need to consider when making those critical decisions?
When we had our first RVE Summit, Eric & Brittany Highland talked about their experiences when they commented that I didn't realize I was required to be able to hear.
"It was an investment in the quality of life," they said of the reason they decided to start RVing.
When Heath and I heard it, something occurred in our minds. This was precisely the method we employed to develop our significant decisions into logical sentences.
When we decided to move to the RV space, we didn't travel the world or escape the 9-5. These were the main specific reasons. We wanted to begin our lives as a couple and live a life full of adventure. We also knew that if we decided to stay in Austin in the end, we'd end working jobs we didn't enjoy and living in an apartment and complaining about congestion.
However, the RV would take us on an adventure. We could go on trips as we've always wanted. It would be our turn to write books. We'd live the lives we had imagined together.
The decision to move into an RV meant deciding to answer, "Which route will bring us the most enjoyment living?" What is going to create the most successful version of me? Living the best life you can (and include additional phrases here).
We were more content, healthier in addition to "working with our genius," like my friend Jill states.
How to Make a "Quality of Life Decision"
The first step is to ask us a few questions:
Does this match with other significant goals of my life?
Everyone has desires. Some are huge, such as traveling across the globe. A few are small, like hosting a cooking show. A decision about your quality of life will align with your dreams and help you get further towards them.
Why do I want to start my blog? To write the book.
What is the reason to start a software business? That's why Heath could become the director of his own business.
Why buy an RV? We could travel to the fifty states.
These choices forced us to take on those goals each step at the moment.
If I am thinking about making this choice, is it heavy or light?
That's a fancy way of asking: is this the way to satisfy me?
Are you feeling that way when you decide, and the weight you didn't even realize that you were carrying gets taken from your back? The responsibility of making big decisions can be overwhelming, which is why knowing the way you'll feel once you've made your choice is vital.
Will I feel lighter once I make this decision? Will it be heavy or light?
We decided to purchase tickets to Italy before when Ellie became a baby. Over the years, many people (unsolicited) suggested that we hurry to travel out of the way before having children. When I was forced to sit at a desk during the first few weeks of my pregnancy, this idea began to make into my head. Traveling was a lifestyle that did not match my grand ambitions. It was like a dark cloud hovering over my head.
Thus, Heath and I decided to make the leap and look into tickets to Venice. Then we did this:
Since it was the one that left us highly content (and somewhat anxious and out of our comfort zone, as we make all excellent choices).
I was 100 pounds lighter, mentally at the very least, as I had been eight months pregnant physically and as big as a whale. I knew that I had made the correct decision.
Do I have the right attitude to follow this route?
I believe this is the most frightening question you could ask.
For most significant decisions, when people ask whether you're ready for a big decision, the answer is often uncertain.
Are you looking to sell your home and get an RV to get away from all your family and friends and be unable to attend Thanksgiving? be able to figure out where you can forward your mail and find out where you can even stay in the RV?
We weren't equipped to run an RV. We dumped water on it, and it got stuck in the mud and then drove into a car in the parking lot.
But we were ready. We were ready for adventure. Looking forward to trying something new and daring and prepared to make a mess of it.
Sometimes it's not just about having all the necessary capabilities and experiences. Sometimes it's all about having the motivation and the determination to continue.
Do you think this will allow me to pursue more activities that I enjoy?
Tyler and Morgan stated that they chose to travel on this show because it allowed them to pursue other activities they enjoy. Hiking. They were getting outdoors. Visit national parks.
Quality of life choices means becoming the most optimal person you are.
That means you're giving yourself the chance to engage in some of those things which fill up your life.
For Heath, this is why the decision was made to create an IT company. It could be run from home, and he can travel. Working with other people instead of being a solo worker is possible. He could do everything from the big picture to strategic business work is his passion.
It verified each box.
In the year I was born, I explained to Heath the only thing I'd like to celebrate my birthday would be a month at the beach. So, we drove our Winnebago to Florida for over a year and enjoyed it. IT. We could walk along the coast. Do some work outside in the sunlight. We can play with our toes on the beach. The little things I enjoy. (And possibly the most beautiful feature of the RV. It's a beach house that can be moved!)
If I could do anything, then what should I be doing?
If money wasn't an issue.
If time was not a factor.
What are you planning to use your time? Would you desire to pursue this particular activity?
For me, my answer is that I'd like to write. This is why I know that staying an active blogger is the best choice for me.
What will be the next opportunity similar to this?
One of the most challenging things about making a choice is the feeling that it's either now or never.
If I don't say yes, now do I have a chance ever to be given an opportunity in the future?
My instinct always says that the answer is no. However, when I consider it, it is a definite yes for the vast majority of my life's major decisions.
Do you think Heath sell the business? There is a good chance that there are other sales opportunities.
Do we need to buy this campsite? There may be more campgrounds to be sold in the future.
Sometimes, the answer is yes. This is an once-in-a-lifetime chance and this is your last chance. This is the reason it's crucial to stop and think whether you'll ever have another chance like this?
Does this decision aid me in making many other choices?
This is the one that Heath me and myself tend to concentrate on the most.
Which option, which route is the best option to aid me in making my other decisions? Or , will they even make those decisions for me?
This is the reason we've been caught up in the past. If we said"yes to" this will mean refusing to this. That's why we realized that, when it comes to major life decisions, we had to determine which one would take care of all the other decisions for us.
As we did last year, we tried to decide the 2020 year's events. Should we buy a new RV? Which RV Airstream van In Tennessee? What should we do in the RV? What is our dream of a campground? Do we plan to act on it? What do we do with Ellie? Do we have time to work at the wheel while she is learning how to walk and crawl? Are we still looking to live in an RV full-time? Should we purchase a home and then RV part-time? What is the best place to purchase the house? Are we really interested in to live in a house? WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO NEXT?
Partnering with Winnebago to be in the Forza with an RV-entrepreneur-specific floorplan for one year that was big enough for a crib answered almost all of those big decisions for us.
We felt lighter. Happier. I was awed by my time at the beach. We were eager to begin exploring more with Ellie. Everything was in place after the one quality of life choice.
