Service Above Self Starts With Loving Yourself To Thine Own Self Be True

"A wise woman went into a Advanced Adaptogen Complex Review cave to meditate. She stayed there for many years drawing all sorts of diagrams on the walls to solve the mystery of life. Finally, she drew an elliptical shape with purple chalk and added a yellow triangle in the middle. "I have solved the mystery of life," she stated and left the cave to resume her previous life. People from all parts of the district flocked to the cave. They saw the yellow triangle with the purple ellipse and copied it down. "Now I have the answer to life, each of them claimed. This, of course was not true. In fact, the purple and yellow design had come to the old woman only after years of scrutiny of her own soul. It was the process that she had undergone to discover the figure that had made it the symbol of her solution. The purple ellipse was a myth of great power for the old woman. For her disciples, it was merely a purple ellipse."

-Changing of the Gods, quoted from Carl Jung, Naomi Goldenberg It has been awhile since I have written an article. I have been fiercely involved in starting the non-profit organization, Give Her Voice, along with seeing private clients and completing my novel Falling from Grace. Every day I wake up and I want to write, say something of wisdom, guide in some way that changes a life (my own life as well). But at times I am speechless, struggling to hear the voice inside of me, uncertain to where I am going. I feel vulnerable, a small part of a larger universe.

Each morning I lay in bed, while the low light of dawn merges into the shadows of nighttime, and I repeat a mantra, 'Hashem, Hashem, Hashem'. This means "The Name" in Hebrew. I surrender to an unknown force and ask for its guidance. Throughout my life, I have been drawn deeply into a place in my soul that has asked me to give service. However, through the journey to find the vulnerability, courage and compassion to give service, I find myself tossed into the fires of transformation. To change and heal myself, to open to my soft spot, my inner strength, and tenacity, and to surrender to something bigger than myself, teaches me daily how to be more human.
