Growing up, one of the best parts of school starting again in the fall was going out to find new school lunch boxes. These were mostly made of metal back then, though there were some that were made of hard plastic marmitas fit congeladas. The popular television shows of the day were featured on these, as well as movies and even singers. Though the latter has not changed, lunch boxes in general are not the same as they were back then. They do the same thing, but they can do them in very different ways. Your kids may still feel the same way about finding the perfect box, but there are more choices now.

School lunch boxes back then came with a Thermos that matched the box. This fit inside and then you used the rest of the room to pack your lunch. Today, not all of them come with the Thermos, which means you have to buy separately. Some people don't like the Thermos, and prefer that their children buy fresh milk or juice at school, even when they are taking their lunch. It use to be a given that the Thermos was included, but not so much today. Check before you buy you may have to go back out to find one to go with it.

Some of the school lunch boxes that you get today are still made of metal, but those are few and far between. The hard plastic variety is more common now, but the ones that are most popular are the soft type that are made with tough fabric and a waterproof interior. These can be packed up for lunch, but then can take up less space in the backpack because they can go flat when they are empty. Some are smaller and are usually just big enough to send a snack, and some are large enough for a full lunch.

Even better than the soft school lunch boxes are the things that you can buy to go with them today. You can find small containers that can fit a sandwich in them, which stops the sandwich from being squashed on the way to school. If you remember back, this happened a lot. You can also get round containers that can be packed with fruit or that can hold pretzels or other snacks while protecting them at the same time. The can sometimes come with the boxes, or you can buy them separately marmitas fit sp.

Along with the great new containers, you can also find inserts to go into some school lunch boxes that can help keep the food contained within cool and fresh. Food sitting in a locker until lunch can go bad, or at the very least, won't taste very good. These frozen inserts will keep food fresh until lunch, and also open up new options for what you can send with your child for lunch instead of limiting them to what will remain good at room temperature. Yogurt, chilled fruit, and even some salads can now be safe and tasty in your child's lunch box at school.
