Samsung Galaxy Note 10 vs. iPhone 11: A Thorough Comparison

Samsung and Apple are going to continue what is probably the most prominent mobile rivalry around the globe. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 was recently released, and it has given Apple some things to worry about. The Galaxy Note 10 offers almost non-existing bezel-less and notch-free screen, 3D sensors on the camera, inbuilt fingerprint scanner, and 5G network connectivity. These features are rumored to take at least months if not years for the iPhone to acquire.

Apple’s next launch event is upcoming, and the competition is red hot right now. Here are our expectations as to how the Galaxy Note 10 and iPhone 11 will pan out.

The design: Notch vs. Hole-Punch

Samsung is offering two screen sizes for the Note, for the first time in its history. Note 10 will come with 6.3 inch and Note 10 Plus with a 6.8-inch edge to edge AMOLED display. It will be available in the colors Aura White, Black, Glow, Pink(UK), and Aura Blue.

The iPhone 11 is rumored to pack the same design as its previous models, except for some minor twitches. It will have two models with 5.8 and 6.5 inch OLED displays and a model with a 6.1 inch LCD display. The bezels will be thicker compared to the Note, and the Notch will be bigger. The iPhone is rumored to have a glass back and will be available in Silver, Gray or Gold.

New Gesture Stylus and 5G

The latest Note 10 will come with 5G network connectivity support. It will also come with duo identification and an inbuilt fingerprint sensor. While the iPhone uses Face ID with a depth camera to sense facial recognition. Note also offers facial recognition, but it is not as secure as the iPhone because it uses the front camera feature to unlock.

Also, Note 10 comes with a magic stylus pen which will be able to work with gesture control. Both of the models do not provide headphone jacks for the users.

Cameras

The camera is the most controversial selling point for the upcoming iPhone, as the design does not look trendy or user-friendly at all. The three cameras on iPhone back will come in a square box on the rear and a 7-megapixel in-depth camera in the front.

Note 10 also has three cameras but they are vertically located. The front is a primary 10-megapixel non-depth camera. The back camera of Note 10 is a depth-sensing camera for 3D scanning and AR doodle. The rear depth scanning is rumored for the iPhone to launch in 2020.

Battery life and Charging

iPhones might have Type C port for charging like iPad pros. The Note has a C type port for charging and packs fast charging too. Both of them will have wireless charging, but Samsung has smart wireless share also. This allows the device to share its battery to other Samsung Devices.

Price

Note 10 is charging $949 while the Note plus will cost you $1099. It includes a dedicated slot for SD card if you want to add some extra storage. Apple is expected to keep its previous price strategy, which means XS sequel will charge $999, and XS max sequel will cost $ 1099. None of them are expected to have expandable storage.
