it's very funny. but i want more parts. ex) plane, helicopter parts and more missions.. (Oct 8) A bunch of changes have been made. Generally building has improved greatly with symmetry working properly now, and the addition of namable crafts. There could still be improvements like the ability to copy paste sections or copy paste part parameters, but id say this is easily worth your time if you like physics sandbox games now as you arent fighting the clunkiness as much. ------------------------------------------------------------- (initial) Its obviously very ea, but that doesnt change the review does it. I cant recommend it in its current state, but il update if that changes. Its missing a lot of features like copy paste, the save system really needs to be miles better ( adding auto saving, renaming etc ) the physics could use a bit of work (the kraken from ksp attacks a lot), there arent many parts or levels, it really, badly, needs hotkeys for building, most building is locked to 90 or 45 degree turns and one of the most annoying things in the editor is that theres no direct method to go forwards or backwards from your viewpoint (Only perpendicular to your point of view). That being said, you probably got attracted here because like me you love physics sandbox games, and there arent many. This one seems like it has a fun premise, the underlying building system seems like when finished it will be fairly intuitive and I doubt itll end up simplifying things too much on completion unless it gets simpler than it is now, so id say it has a lot of potential. I would hold off until some of the key deficiencies are dealt with however. if theyre dealt with. This is an ea game after all, so no guarantees. (Sept - 14) Update 01- Very soon after I made this review the dev seems to have fixed quite a lot of issues I had with the game. Things like the lack of hotkeys, keys for camera movement are greatly improved. Things like auto saving designs are still weird, key rebinds dont yet exist, and the save system could really do with perhaps folders or at the very least naming your machines, but the developer seems to be moving quickly to make the game far more playable and I dont doubt Il end up recommending the game.. VERY VERY VERY NICE - Only need more option for custom angles 15 to 15 instead of 45 for example. more stages. maybe a option to put non motorized wheels with motors. after roverbuilder on android 1 and 2.. Good game. Would be better if you could up the strength of the parts or if you could enable a "God Mode" in sandbox. I'm quite an ambitious builder and like the idea of "One creation can do all" but as soon as all my creations dropped, they exploded. Might as well just call it glass not steel :D. Also being able to set a spring to either compression or extension could be another awesome feature otherwise a spring is basically the same as a link. Other then those, Great first impressions. I was worried this would just be a copy of scrap mechanic but no. They basically took everything that didn't work/was missing from scrap mechanic and made a whole game.. love this game first hour in and iv built this needs workshop thoe so i can share creations
