‘QuickBooks Error OL332: Customer ID or PIN entered is not valid. Please try again’

What are the resolutions for Error OL-332?
Since the problem has occurred with the customer ID or the PIN, if you are doing a transaction involving a customer/client, get all the bank details once again and cross check. In case all details are correct, then try the following solutions after checking the network connections:

A. TLS 1.2 Protocol:

Enabling the TLS 1.2 security protocol can help fix the issue. To do that, OPEN INTERNET EXPLORER and
Click on ‘TOOLS’ and ‘INTERNET OPTIONS’
Here, select the ‘ADVANCED’ tab and browse to click on ‘SECURITY’
Uncheck ‘TLS 1.0 and select ‘USE TLS 1.2’
Click ‘APPLY’ and ‘OK’ to save changes. Restart the system to begin the transaction.
B. New Company File

If the error appears again after checking the TLS 1.2, try creating a new ‘TEST’ company file

Open QuickBooks and FILE
Click on ‘NEW COMPANY’ and ‘EXPRESS START’
Now, when a new company file is created, add the BANK ACCOUNT which has the error issue and clicks ‘SET UP ACCOUNT FOR BANK FEEDS
You can now DOWNLOAD BANK FEED TRANSACTIONS to this test account file.
In case the error message appears again, the problem is with the ‘BANK’ itself. The only way to receive a solution is by contacting the bank.
Even if no error messages appear, you need to RUN the account set-up by pressing the CTRL key continuously.

C. Running account set-up with CTRL suppressed
Create a BACKUP for the company file to be on a safer side
Now, from the CHART OF ACCOUNTS, click on ‘INCLUDE INACTIVE’ and browse to find the inactive accounts
Now, right-click on the account which is checked and click to EDIT ACCOUNT
Browse to ‘BANK FEED SETTINGS’ and click ‘DEACTIVATE ALL ONLINE SERVICES’
Click ‘SAVE and CLOSE’
Now check if that ‘account’ is not checked and close the company file
REOPEN the company file, and RUN BANK FEEDS SETUP to download transactions
Do not forget to click on CTRL each time a key is pressed
